Stockholm

Our capital city has much to offer visitors. To just enjoy the beautiful city by a walk on the heights of Södermalm, through the old town, around the castle, looking at Djurgården or along Strandvägen and Nybrokajen, is sufficient to understand the city's charm. 

Shopping 

Many travel to Stockholm for shopping, which is understandable. Drottninggatan is the inner city's most famous shopping street, where you'll find most commercial brands, in Östermalm crowding the exclusive brands such as Gucci, Armani, Filippa K, Gant and Diesel. Biblioteksgatan and Birger Jarlsgatan at Stureplan are obvious shopping streets in Östermalm. In the old town you can find lots of tourist shops and very small craft stores. On the south lies the area known as SOFO (South of Folkungagatan) where you encounter the young and trendy with a little edge. 

Entertainment 

Theater, opera, musicals, concerts - mostly happens in Stockholm and there are plenty to choose from, every day! Visit any of the major booking sites so you can find almost certainly something to suit you. 

In Stockholm, there are hundreds of museums, such as architectural museum, the ethnographic museum, historical museum, art museum and biological museum. There are also many art galleries, galleries and exhibitions to choose from. On Liljevalch art gallery looking at Djurgården shows both Swedish and international art, at Kulturhuset in Sergelstorg there are several shows to watch and do you want to see Swedish art and design, there are several galleries in the middle of town to visit. 

The children probably appreciate a visit to Junibacken, Gröna Lund and Skansen on Djurgården. In summer, the archipelago tours are very popular for a reason. A stay in the archipelago is a classic summer experience. 

Food 

Restaurants and cafes can be found wherever you are and there are guarantees something for every taste, whether you want classical gourmet, modern crossover, brunch, a perfect espresso, traditional pastry or something with an international influence. Are you looking for something extra you would probably book a table at one of the classic restaurants as the Grand Hôtel, Operakällaren and Berns or the modern gourmétrestaurangerna Fredsgatan 12, Pontus or Esperanto. 

A visit to the Absolut Ice Bar is an extraordinary experience, but you can find really good bar to hang at both at the trendy spots around Stureplan and the relaxed beauty bars on the South. Although nightclub groups have great diversity in both music and atmosphere. Choose your own style and party away the early morning. Then start your day with breakfast at a cozy café, or, if the night was long, a really long and luxurious brunch.
